| Synopsis: |
The Boy Scout Report to State Parade is an annual event the
club has participated in for many years. We typically haul the Tiger and Cub Scouts
from Pack 395 on this 2 mile parade which starts on the Congress Ave.
bridge and heads up Congress Ave. to the Capital. The return route
is typically West on 11th and then South back to the staging area.
Feb. 1st is the date for the annual Scout Parade up Congress Ave. and this year we are expecting approx. 60 scouts and leaders. Don't need a vehicle count for this one yet, just a heads up, more details to follow. We're off and running for another year.

The Scout Parade this year is 1 Feb with the line up starting on the bridge at 0730 and the parade kicks off at 0900. I got my 1st request for a ride today from a troop in Buda. I spoke with last years POC for our forever P-395 but he has now moved on but said he would pass the worsd to the new person in the barrel. If you planned to carry any Cubs or Boy Scouts make sure you have enough room for everyone and they need to have registered with the scout office by 25 Jan. They also need a banner with all of the information requested by the scout office (they should know what that is) and they need two older boys or adults to carry the banner in front of the vehicle(s) carrying the pack/troop. You will need to know if anyone wants off at the Capitol or it's a return trip to the parking lot. Also, please let me know if you are planning on carrying someone. I'll send out information about meeting and forming up as the date gets closer. If you have any questions let me know.
