The Lone Star MVPA has won numerous awards, ribbons and trophies for member's participation in various events. In addition, the club promotes several programs to encourage member participation in club sponsored events. We understand the importance of participation and how it relates to the public's perception of our activities.

Month" award for June/July 2002.
National Recognition - Expert Driver Program
The National MVPA also recognizes club members participation in events through
the Expert Driver Program. Club members earn points based on a defined set
of criteria, submit their credentials to the club President for verification and
receive an award for their activities. Please see the National MVPA site

Local Chapter Recognition - MVPA Award
Our local chapter awards one member at the end of each calendar year with a plaque commemorating
their dedication and efforts to promote the club and it's activities. The
MVPA (Most Valuable Participant Award) recipient is determined by the President and is based on several factors
including meeting participation, event participation (both in and outside of
club activities) and general actions by the member related to the good will and
benefit of the club and the National MVPA.
