This years event was sponsored by the Bastrop Area Cruisers. There were over 500 cars in the show. This is the most for Bastrop’s history. This was probably due to the outstanding weather conditions. The M38A1 was posted next to the Ceremony and Awards Stage. The location was great but the DJ speaker was a pain in the ears. There was a lot of interest and comments on the vehicle. As the only participant this year (my normal partners vehicle was down), I enjoyed showing the jeep and interacting with the many veterans from Korea to current day operations. Looking forward to next years car show again.
