Evening Folks; Just a note with photos to mark my visit to the subject memorial on March 23rd.
The memorial happened to be set up in Gonzales Texas located about 50 miles south of our location. Gonzales was famous during the battles with the Spanish/ Mexicans under Santa Anna for daring the Mexican troops to come and take their cannon.
My visit comprised a multitude of emotions and thoughts from chats with former Vietnam vets plus my own recollection of my brief assignment in Vietnam in 1973
