Where: Liberty Hill, TX
This is an annual event several of us participate in. A good, small
town parade, where the whole populace turns out, regardless of the
weather. And parading for them is a good thing to do on Pearl Harbor
Day.
This year it was positively pleasant weather-wise, somewhere around 57
degrees and dry (it was 39 and wettish last year!).
Attending were Ralph M with his M274 Mule; Sam R with his M1028/M101A2
combo; Scott P and family in the M35 with his new-to-him M200 trailer;
Rory C and Panda B in the M931A2; David C and Charlie S in the
M1009/M116A3 HSTRU combo; and Charles H bringing up the rear with his
desert M1009.
This is the parade where the 5-ton got the nickname Candy Crusher
(several of the parade participants throw candy to the kids). At the
end, the tires bore evidence that she had once again lived up to her
name, as had most of the other vehicles.
Afterwards, most of us gathered for a well earned supper.
