The Welcome Home Iraq Veterans parade was held on 7 July. We gathered early in the TXDOT parking lot and headed to the parade line-up at 0730. The parade staff had lost all paperwork associated with the parade and had to organize the parade on the fly. After about 30 minutes we lined up on the bridge. After stopping on the bridge two council-women asked to ride in a jeep during the parade. Tim W. was elected to carry the couincil-women. At 0910 the parade started. We had seven vehicles and overall the parade was good. After the parade we went to Threadgills for a great lunch
