Call to Order - 1915 hrs.

Quartermaster Report:
John K. presented an inventory report and turned in $156 from donations during recent events.
Treasurer's Report:
Toby C. presented the treasury report.
Web Site Update:
Rick H. presented the Web Site Report. Current events are up to date. Past events are being updated.
Design changes to the web site have been made.

2. Posted dues info under the Members Only section. Click on Roster and enter the password to view. Contact me for the password. The page contains the date when your membership runs out, and the insurance payment status.
Should you want your name off the list, contact me. Everyone on the list is current as of this time.
Newsletter Update:
Rick H presented the newsletter report. The next newsletter is scheduled for June.
Recent Events:
Muster Day: Clint D. reported on the event. This was a great event with lots of participation by the club and a lot of interest by the guests.
Temple Air Show: Sam R. reported that there was a good turnout at the event and that the reenactments were a huge success.
Temple Family Day: Sam R. and Danny K. reported that there was a lot of rain during the event and that the event has been rescheduled for18 July 2009.
Bellmead reenactment: Jeff M. reported that we had three members participate in the "mud bog at Bellmead" event. The reenactments were conducted in spite of the rain and the night attack was ended early as a result of a flair causing a fire at a near by Walmart.

Danny K. outlined upcoming events. Danny will send out additional information as it becomes available and information will be posted on the club web site. Events included:
Memorial Day Activities
23rd Placement of flags on Veterans graves , Liberty Hill. VFW Post 8925 will once again be placing flags at the graves of Veterans at the cemetery in Oak Hill at the corner of Hwy 290 and William Cannon on Saturday the 23rd. It will start at 0800 and this usually takes about 2 or 3 hours depending upon how many show up. If you decide to help out bring a pair of gloves and a long screw driver or similar item to pre punch a whole in the ground for the flag. Sometimes the ground is hard depending on the last rain. Drinks will be provide.
23rd Purple Heart Association , Driftwood TX. Madison H. will be attending the event.
25th Pflugerville Memorial Day Activities. VFW District 28 will be hosting the ceremony at the Cook-Walden Cemetery ay Pflugerville. Everything will kick off there at 1100 hrs but they usually always have a big crowd so be a little early for parking.
Liberty Hill Parade: 30 May. Clint D. reported that line up is scheduled for 1200hrs. the elementary school. The parade is scheduled to start at 1300 hours. At the present time, this is a NO GUN EVENT!
Lockhart Parade: 13 June. Meet at Kaiserville at 0700 and depart at 0730 for Lockhart. We must be lined up for judging at 0830. Following the parade we will get BBQ and return home. There is a limit as to the number of vehicles we can bring, so contact Danny K. if you are planning on going.
Lakeway Parade 4 July. More later.
National Convention: August 6,7,8. Evansville, Indiana. More details later.
Veterans Day Tree Planting. 11 Nov. We have been invited back for this event again this year. More information to follow.
Gonzales Parade: 3 Oct.. This event and a Temple fund raising event are scheduled at the same time. This is a small vehicle event. More information to follow.
Lone Star Flight Museum fund Raiser: 3 Oct.. Temple TX. This event is being held in Temple to raise funds for the museum in Galveston. We have been asked to set up a static display for the event. More information to follow..
Old Business:
Toby C and Rick H discussed the insurance card that is being designed for members to carry in their vehicle during events. Policy information and form design will be sent to Rory C. for approval.

John K. announced that there is a M151 for sale on craigslist.
Danny K announced that Toby C. is running for a seat on the Board of Directors at National MVPA and that only members of National MVPA can vote. So if you want to vote, join National if not a current member.
