Call to Order - 1915 hrs.

Introductions - Guests, New Members:
Quartermaster Report: John K. reported that the club needs t-shirts. Members discussed using different styles and colors, but decided on using the current style. John K. will get pricing information and report back.
Treasurer's Report: None
Web Site Update: Rick H. presented the Web Site Report. Need McDade AAR and is currently working on the awards section of the site. Rory C. requested that the member vehicles area be updated. Rick H. will send an email to members requesting pictures of their vehicles for the site.
Newsletter Update: Rick H reported that the next newsletter is due out in September.
Recent Events:
Lakeway Independence Day Parade, 4 July. John SS reported that the club had 12 vehicles in attendance and the parade went as scheduled. There was a good crowd. We had to line up on the road instead of the golf course. Danny K. will talk to the parade officials about where we will line up next year. The club received an Honorable Mention award for the parade.
McDade Watermelon Fest Parade, 11 July. Sam R. reported that the club had four attendees in the parade and that we won 1st Place Best Vehicle Group. He also reported that there was no watermelon. Members ate at Southside BBQ following the parade.
Upcoming Events: Danny K. outlined upcoming events. Danny will send out additional information as it becomes available and information will be posted on the club web site. Events included:
Temple Family Day, 18 July. This event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Railroad Museum in Temple. Directions are provided on the web site. Please arrive from 0900 to0930. Lunch will be provided.
National MVPA Convention, 6,7,8 August. Many members will attend. Toby C is running for the Board of Directors.
Marine Deployment. 13 Sept. The 1/23 Marines re scheduled for deployment. An open house is scheduled for 13 September from 0900 to 1200 hours at Camp Mabry. Military vehicles from all eras have been requested.
Fort Worth Militaria Show, 18-20 Sept.
Moody Cotton Harvest Fest, 26 Sept. Additional information will be sent as it becomes available.
Galveston Benefit in Temple, 3 Oct Additional information will be sent as it becomes available.
Gonzales Parade, 3 Oct. Additional information will be sent as it becomes available.
Leander VFW Annual BBQ, 17-18 Oct. Display vehicles have been requested. Set up Thursday and Friday. Additional information will be sent as it becomes available.
Old Business:
Texas Flags for the Troops. Donations for Texas Flags for the troops going to Afghanistan are requested before 20 July. Rick H. will draft a letter for the club.
The sandwich board has been purchased for the club.

Announcements:
Rory C. announced that he had seen a picture of "Ol Bullet" in Planes, Names & Dames Vol 3 1955-1975 by Larry Davis. Page 50 has a picture of the artwork on an 11TAC Recon Squadron RF-4C Phantom Flown by Jack Fergerson & Barry Johnson out of Udorn Thailand during Nov 69, and crewed by Col. J Ward B.
