Synopsis:	The Leander cookoff is scheduled for the 17th and 18th of October. Participants will start to show up on Thursday. Friday is set up day with an outdoor dance that night. The cookoff takes place Saturday and the judging is done at 5PM. There is usually a dance Saturday night. Military vehicles are requested. There is also a bunk house available with cots but no bedrolls. Mess facilities are provided. Directions: Option 1: Take Palmer Rd West to FM2243, left on FM2243 drive approximately .5 mi. Event is on the right. (Note: Palmer willl turn into Ronaald W. Reagan Bvld. at FM1431 or E. Whitestone Bvld.) Option 2: Take 183 North to FM2243, turn right on FM2243 and drive .5 miles. Event will be on the left. Option 3: Take I35 to exit 260 (FM2243 to Leander), drive approximately 6.5 miles. Event will be on the right.
