We had been invited to the car show by Mr. John S., president of the Lone Star Car Club. We were not judged (didn’t have to pay fees) but had a good display by our folks. It started out quite cool but warmed up nicely as the sun came out. The displays were quite attractive; Madison with his display (along with HoChiMin), James with his chaplains display and Domingo with his wonderful weapons display. Jim didn’t display as much but presented a jeep with operational equipment on board. We have had larger crowds in previous years but still plenty of visitors of all ages. We had our primo spot again and enjoyed the event as much as the visitors. We left about 1530 hrs after the awards were made. Also, each of us received a “Porkticipant” ribbon. Looking forward to the next Hogeye.
