One of our annual events, and one well attended by the locals. It is always a fun event, and virtually the whole town's populace were lining the streets.
This year our normally larger contribution was reduced by a couple of folk being sick, and some last minute failures of vehicles to cooperate.
Weather sunny and hot, and even steamier than usual due to the recent rains.
Parading were Fred H, Toby C, and Jim and Mrs H with their respective Jeeps; Madison H with his M37; David C in his M109A3, and Rory C in his M931A2 tractor. Mitch C and John C were along without vehicles.
Shortly after we lined up, a gentleman came by, saw the vehicles and stopped to say "I have one of those jeeps!".
We said "Then go get it!".
He did, and returned with a nicely appointed M606 with M416 trailer. He joined the club on the spot, then he and his granddaughter paraded with us.
Afterwards, we gathered for lunch, then headed home.
