The Lone Star MVPA arrived in Elgin Texas around 9:00 Saturday October 26th 2013. Madison H downloaded his 1953 M37A1, ¾ ton Dodge radio truck at Southside Market! Madison Checked with the owner/manager to verify we could still leave our tow trucks and trailers on the property! Madison then drove to downtown Elgin and was assigned a spot behind a M715 that was already in place! The M715 is owned by a new member of the club Del W.
The weather turned out great all day! Madison H and Del W visited with the people coming to the car show. Madison had a small displays went over well!
The car show was somewhat smaller than last year! Lots of vendors and food of all kinds!
Lots of old Veterans spent time with us and lots of good stories! One Elgin Lady asked about the Austin Parade as she has a friend who was a Korea Pow and also in Vietnam and asked if we could get him a ride in the parade! I have contacted her and gave her the info on the Event!
I left the Car show and up loaded my M37 at the south side market. My wife and grandson showed up and we ate Bar-B-Que!

This was a Fair to Good event and should be considered next year!
