I belong to the Kiowa Tia-Piah Society, a Native American Gourd Dance Organization, We have a 4 day gourd dance ending on July 4th. We have a Flag Ceremony on the 2,3 & 4th. Usually we fly a deceased Veterans Flag. This year we had the opportunity to fly a flag that was flown by Danial Kaiser, Gunny Sargent, Eagle Scout, USMC, in August 2009. I make it a point to attend these services a the flag means a lot to me. On the 4th I was selected to assist with the flag ceremony, so I added my beaded belt made by my wife and a turban with the chief emblem and submarine Pin. it's a very moving event!!!
