This month’s car show in Leander was one of the larger ones as regards number of cars on display, but lightly attended by LSMVPA. Sam R brought his M1028, Panda and Patrick C brought David C’s M1009 (David is away serving in the Marine Corps) and Rory C debuted his M931A2 5-ton tractor.
The weather was very pleasant and many folks came by and checked out the vehicles. We continue to be particularly popular with the younger attendees because we let them climb into the vehicles, unlike virtually all others at the show!
Somewhere between the light check at the farm before to the show, and the light check at the show prior to leaving for home, the M931 became “one-eyed”! It pays to always carry a spare bulb on board, so in short order all was in proper condition for the road again.
