Scott S decided to attend the annual Farwest Blvd. July 4th parade this year with his 1953 M38A1. Arriving an hour before the parade start time of 0900 hours, Scott secured a great spot in line and waited. His dad, a WWII and Korea veteran was also happy to hitch a ride in the jeep he helped restore with Scott. After the national anthem and other assorted patriotic songs were sung, the parade started. About eight blocks later and the end in sight, yet another July 4th parade was in the books. Afterwards, Scott headed to Elgin to attend the Southside BBQ event.
