Attended by LS-MVPA members Sam R (M1009 w/M416) and Clint D (M1009) and Wayne (Ferret). We formed up Saturday morning for a lightly attended (by the public) show at the 3ACR Museum, then tacos and a driver's meeting before heading out on West Range Road. We had twelve vehicles on the trails Saturday including a half track. The recent rains provided some thrilling wet crossings and muddy spots and we got to investigate several training sights as well. Only a couple of breakdowns slowed things down, everyone made it back to "civilization" though the Ferret went the last few miles on a tow strap behind Clint's M1009 (clogged fuel system). Sunday had fewer vehicles due to breakdowns and family obligations, but was just as fun! More mud and wet crossings, and our first 4x4 LOW hill. In all about 150 miles driven off road:) To assist in reducing download time, Thumbnail pictures are below - simply click on the picture to see an enlarged version.
