March 2010 was the time for the annual Brent Mullins' Open House. This is a set up on Thursday and the open house runs Friday and Saturday with Saturday being a WW II reenactment and fire power demo. There are always lots of vendors and lots of MVPA members just cleaning out their garages of excess items. if you can't find something that you can't do without you just arn't looking very hard. Thursday was good weather wise, Friday started out okay but then the rains came. Buy Saturday it was a mud fest and most of the day was spent with the heavy duty guys pulling out everyone else who had gotten stuck, me included. There is a saying that if it doesn't rain on your parade you planned it on the wrong day. If that was the case then this open house was a huge success. Hopefully better luck in 2011.
