Great Oaks Elementary school in Round Rock held their spring fundraiser on Saturday, May 24th, and Lone Star MVPA was there to help. Scott P in his M35A2, David C in Caitlin’s M1009, and Rory C and Panda in the M813A1 arrived around 12:30 and set up. The vehicles were immediately swamped with kids, and that continued in a steady stream all day. Around 2pm Lee arrived with his M37 and joined the crew.
The school kept well supplied with food and beverages by through the afternoon, and around 6pm the show was over. It is unknown how many kids (and adults) crawled around/on/in the trucks, but there were many! The fundraiser was very successful, and the school thanked the club profusely for our participation.
