On Tuesday, 9 November,2010, I represented the LSMVPA at the Veterans Day recognition held at the Texas Comptroller Building. My contact was Kathy Hendly, who arranged for me to install our "fallen hero" exhibit in the Lobby. I was given a reserved parking place directly in front of the building entrance to park & display my Willys MB.The other exihibit was a Hummv with two active duty soldiers. We were given chairs, a poster identifying our club, lunch and an almost steady stream of visitors. Our participation in this event seems to be appreciated and I reccomend that we continue to attend.
