This was one of the best parades this year and we set a record for the number of vehicles that showed up. We started to arrive at the TxDot parking lot at 0700 with a 0730 line up time. By the time we started to the bridge we had six 2 1/2 ton, two 5 ton, two M37, one M1009, eight jeeps and two bicycles for a total of 21 vehicles. A new record. It looked like we could have transported all the people in the parade. At 0900 we proceeded to go down Congress St. to a crowed street. People lined the street from the bridge to the Capital.
