We gathered at Kaiserville at 0615 and departed for Gonzales shortly after that. The trip was easy and we arrived at 0730 and parked in the stadium parking lot and off loaded. Several of us jumped in Rick's GPW and headed for Whataburger to get breakfast and hit the head before lining up for the parsade. At 0850 we lined up for the parade in the rain. We were number 28 of over 100 entrants in the parade. We then stood in the rain till the parade start at 1030. The parade was very well attended and wove through the downtown area. We loaded the trailers and departed for Lockhart and some BBQ. Danny then told us that we won first place in the parade. Overall very wet but a great parade.
