Lots and Lots of Kids! We didn’t experience any major damage although there was some. I think Barry had the most as kids can find any weakness in mechanical things. Barry wasn’t overly worried as he said he can repair the damage. It was hot and humid (this is Texas) but we at least had canopy cover to keep out of the sun. T- a-T folks had coffee and a little breakfast for us although it was not overly warm but it was food. The lunch was much better. We did have a pretty good time swapping stories although Bob H & Brad B spent a lot of time garnering kids to pass out lollypops. We only had one fire truck in the last hour or so that used its siren much to the dismay of kids mothers and us. Sometimes it seems a drag to attend this event but it is for a good cause.
Barry F was last to depart. He said he was told by staff they sold 6000 tickets at $10/adults and $5/child. Looks like the fund raiser was a success.
