The Burnet airshow was a big success, the organizers believe they had the biggest crowd in their history, and I agree. The weather was pretty much perfect for such an event.
We had a great turnout from the LSMVPA, we fielded twelve vehicles and two trailers, and had a further five non-LSMVPA military vehicles display with us, including a helicopter! We also had several members attend without vehicles.
The airshow organizers have expressed their thanks for us being there, and have asked that we participate in other programs they will be having during the year.
My thanks to all who participated in this event. Additional special thanks to Charlie S and Barry F for manning the busy sales table, if we didn't have record income for the club coffers from this show, it was certainly close.
