The parade is one we have always attended. This year the weather was a typical hot day for Texas with little wind. None the less, we three had time to catchup on news and enjoy the company. In past years we always took at the first and second place Best Antique Truck trophies and the Best Car Club 1st place. I had a feeling that might change to allow others to win something. And it appeared to happen this year. Madison H took 2nd Place Best Antique Truck, Jim H took 3rd Place Best Antique Truck and we took the 1st Place Best Car Club trophy. We don't know who took 1st Place. The one negative item was folks in front of throwing stuff in the street from vehicles/trailers which is against the parade rules but was not enforced. This is being brought to the attention of parade organizers so they will hopefully place more emphasis on enforcement in the future.
