The meeting was called to order at at Fleet Maintenance of Texas.
General Business...
 | Danny indicated Horizon Sportswear will have the completed shirts ready tomorrow. |
| A discussion was held regarding the legal use of "Lonestar" as part of the club name. Scott indicated he spoke with Matt Booth, an attorney he knows, and Mr. Booth said it shouldn't present any problems as so many companies and organizations in Texas use Lonestar in their names and businesses. |
| A discussion was held on the club's ability to generate 'walk-by' donations. The concept of a donation can was discussed whereby a 5 gallon jerry can would be painted OD with a yellow or red top and stenciled in some manner. Scott agreed to create one or two to test the concept. |
| A discussion was held regarding the Rockcrawler.com website and if there was any possible alliance potential. The site has a nice area for Readers Rides that might be adopted for the club members vehicles as well. Further discussions centered on the annual Jeep Jamboree at the YO Ranch and if there might be any interest in club participation or showing. |
| A discussion centered on an awards banquet possibly at the December meeting. The Past Presidents awards could be presented then. Danny will coordinate the November nominations, December elections and award/food aspects. |
| TMHS has two events coming up in the near future. |
| A discussion was held on how to "re-up" former members. It was agreed that Claude would contact former members and try to get them to renew their memberships based on all the positive changes the club was making and the number of events attended. Danny would call current members to remind them of the the meetings time and location. |
| A discussion was held regarding the upcoming Muster Day. Bill M had handled Gen. Scribner in the past. |
| Danny asked for an updated Membership Roster to make the telephone calls about upcoming meetings. |
