 | A discussion was held regarding fellow club member Bill M selling off all
his equipment. The discussion centered around the possibility of the
club's purchase of some of his items. |
 | Kenny provided an update on the newsletter. He reported he no longer
has time to do it properly and is willing to resign his position. The
discussion moved to a National requirement that the club have a newsletter
and the Secretary was responsible for newsletter creation. A
committee will be appointed at the next meeting for a nomination to fill the
position of newsletter. |
 | Scott distributed a spreadsheet of membership expirations and where the
expirations fall in and relate to cash flow. Kenny indicated he will
use a bright colored label on the upcoming newsletters notifying those whose
memberships are about to expire. |
 | Danny indicated Camp Mabry is in "Lock Down" mode at this
time. We will have our monthly club meetings as scheduled but will
come up with an alternate location. At this time, Camp Mabry is
installing concertina wire, removing brush back 50 feet from fence lines and
other security enhancements. |
 | Danny provided the new batch of t-shirts is available to pick up. |
 | Scott reported the bank account is "healthy" |
 | Scott reported the website will cost approximately $200 annually to
maintain. This includes the URL registration and web hosting. A
decision was made to hold off until renewals are in. |
 | A discussion was held on 'what kind of club' we want to be. |
 | Kenny indicated he was in an upcoming play and needed to secure a GP
Medium tent and 30 desert storm uniforms. |
 | A discussion was held on the club possibly securing a 501C3 status and
what steps would be required to do so, benefits/drawbacks etc. |

community through our events. |
