Call to Order: 1908 hrs

Members present: Tim & Colton B, Ward B, Rory C, Mark C, Barry F, Charles H, Ed H, Madison H, Danny K, Lee K, Jeff M, Ralph M (with friend), Sam R, Andrew S, Scott S, Herb T, Claude V, Charlie W, Fred W, Apologies to any not mentioned here.

Introductions - Guests, New Members: Denny M. (M37 project truck) Michael R (looking for HMMWV)

Treasurer’s Report: Madison H (acting)- Current balance $2711.18, plus any monies collected at the meeting. National MVPA insurance was purchased for $100, we are now covered under that policy.

Quartermaster Report: John K (absent) A T-shirt order should go in soon.

Website Report: Rick H, (absent due to surgery, recovering well!)- Up to date, please advise any changes needed.

Recent Events

• Korean Veteran's tribute, State Capitol Grounds (25 June)- Glenn V and Jeff H, big turnout
• Presbyterian Church Korean War Display (27 June)- NONE
• Lakeway Parade (3 July)- 12 vehicles participated including: Danny K (M37), Madison H (M37), Fred H (CJ2A, no rope), Sam R (M1009/M416), Clint D (M1009), Lee K (M170), Caitlin C (M1009), Rory C (M1009), Herb T (most of a MB), Jeff M (MB), Glenn V (CJ2A), Scott P (M35A2) with many riders. A great turnout as always and two new members gleaned from the crowd!
• Southside Market Independence Day Celebration, Elgin (4 July)- Scott P (M35A2), Ed H (M35A2 gun truck), Madison H (M37), Sam R (M1009/M416), Glenn V (CJ2A) and Clint D (M1009). Good crowd, great meat(!) and great fireworks! The NG brought out a 2.5t FMTV, HMMWV and a towed light arty piece to drool over as well.
• MVPA National Convention, Topeka Kansas (8-11 July)- Danny K (and Mrs.), Madison H (and Mrs.), Herb T, Rory C, Scott P, Sam R, Claude V and of course Toby C! A great thing to behold, lots of loot brought home (thanks to those with cargo space), plans in the works for Dayton Oh. 2011!
