Lone Star Military Vehicle Preservation Association
Meeting Minutes - 16 November 2005
Call to Order - 1918 hrs. 
Members present included: Scott S., Jeff M., Danny K., Rick H., John K., Rory C., Herb T., Barry F., Madison H., Toby C., Jeff L., Ward B., Tim 
W., Clint D., Jim S., and his guest Jerry B.  

Treasurer's Report: The Treasurer's Report was presented by Jeff M. Year-to-date income was noted along with year-to-date expenses.  
Membership numbers were reported along with the estimated percentage of members of the chapter who also belong to the National MVPA.  Jeff M. will contact 
those members coming up for membership renewal. Scott S. reported that the web-hosting fee is due.  The club will pay the fee.

Quartermaster Report:  Herb T. reported that there was no change to the inventory and that we are waiting the redesign of club shirts.

Newsletter: Tim W. updated the club members on the newsletter status.  Fall and winter newsletters will be out soon.

Web Site Update:  Scott S. reported that updated have been made to include the latest events.

Recent Events: Scott S. presented information on the Elgin Hog Eye Festival.  Herb T. presented information on the LCRA Veterans Day Event.  Danny K
presented information on the Austin Veterans Day Parade.  Rory C. presented information on the Hutto Veterans Day Event.  Tim W.. presented 
information on the Veterans Day Wedding event.  Toby C. presented information on the Bandera Veterans Day Event.  Madison H. presented information on the
Randolph AFB Veterans day event.

Upcoming Events: Scott S. and Danny K. outlined upcoming events.

New Business:
Toby C. reported that we had been invited to participate with the Jeep Masters Club trail ride outside of Bastrop.  Toby C. will gather 
additional information and present it to the membership.  The December meeting will be our annual Christmas party and meeting.
Several members volunteered to bring beverages chips and sandwiches.  Members are encouraged bring food and to attend, and bring a guest.

Announcements:  Danny K. reminded everyone to keep a record of events and mileage for the Expert Driver Award.
