Scott provided information on the updates made to the website in the past month.  The newsletter will be out shortly.  Tim and Jeni have finished the legislative session and will now have more time to devote to it's publication.  Again, a CALL FOR ARTICLES was put to the group.

PAST EVENTS
Danny provided an AAR on the recent Temple Air Show.  Much like last years event, one day was beautiful and one day was ugly.  The club had many participants and vehicles throughout the event and Scott did an excellent job cooking for the troops.  A Resolution of Appreciation was presented by Toby and seconded by Herb to thank Scott for his cooking efforts at which point Danny presented Scott a "Grill Sergeant" t-shirt to wear at future events.  Many thanks were also bestowed on Toby for providing the elk sausages.

UPCOMING EVENTS
The upcoming San Marcos Air Show was discussed.  This Saturday/Sunday event should be a good one.  Gates open at 8am and we should be in place no later than 8:30am.  The membership agreed this will be a "BBQ Event" and Scott offered to cook hamburgers/cheeseburgers and Toby agreed to provide sausages again.

OLD BUSINESS
A short discussion was held regarding the language of the sponsorship documents to present to the car dealers.  Scott will provide a draft to Jeff who will provide his input.  At that point, we can move forward on presenting a proposal to the various dealers to raise money.

A discussion was held regarding this years club convoy.  Danny presented Don L's offer to hold it in the Bryan/College-Station area.  The discussion centered around the distance to this convoy and Claude's offer to hold it in the McDade area locally.  Milburn's convoy about 100 miles outside of Austin in Gatesville was discussed at which point the group decided to not travel the 100 miles or so.  Claude indicated he is willing to draft up a convoy route/map on public roads instead of private/public roads he had envisioned..  He had  indicated his neighbors are not 100% on-board for us going through their respective properties, so the route will be on public roads.  As of this meeting, no firm date was set.

A discussion was held regarding the Club Quartermaster function.  After great discussion of the roles and responsibilities, Herb T agreed to take on the position and provide feedback at each meeting.  Motion by Rory, seconded by Toby.  All agreed.  Danny and Scott offered Herb assistance as needed to fulfill the role.

Jeff McD will assemble an email to the group to provide E-Bay USERID's for distribution to club members.  Reason for this is so we will not be bidding against one another on same/like items.

A discussion was held regarding the Guadalupe Street festival occurring each month.  Similar to the Congress 1st Tuesday, Ed Hall with the Quonset Hut has invited us to participate.  It's held on the 3rd Thursday from about 6pm to 9/10pm.  Event generally runs from about 15th St. up through 30th St.

NEW BUSINESS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
Danny presented the cost estimates regarding replacement of the Antelope Valley Truck Parts "Nude" magnetic sticker/decals.  Based on his information, cost per unit would run about $6.  The group agreed to not pursue development of our own.

Danny received a "Thank-You" from Don Carlton regarding our club participation at the recent Temple Air Show.

John SS relayed a story regarding a MVPA member in the mid-Kansas chapter that was a veteran and had his vehicle vandalized while in a Mall-Wart parking lot.  The group discussed a contribution and one was awarded.  John will forward the funds in the club's name.

The Harry Ransom center at UT has a Russian front display at this time.

Nick Stanko was welcomed as a guest and potential new member.
