Call to Order - 1908 hrs.

General introductions were made of the members present. Members present included: Scott S., Ward B., Jeff M., Danny K., Claude V., Rick H, John K., Herb T., John S., J.H. Montgomery, Clint D., James T., and Tim W. David B. was a visitor from the BSA.

The minutes of the December 2004 meeting were presented by Tim W. and approved.

Treasurer's Report: The Treasurer's Report was presented by Jeff M. Year-to-date income was noted along with year-to-date expenses. Membership numbers were reported along with the estimated percentage of members of the chapter who also belong to the National MVPA. Those members that are up for membership renewal to the National MVPA will be notified by Jeff M.

Web Site Update: Scott S. reported that the website has been updated and is waiting for the after action report on the Boy Scout Order of the Arrow Banquet held on the 15th. JH stated that he has some pictures that need posting. Members were requested to provide pictures and after action reports. Danny K. complemented Scott S. for his work, and pointed out that it is one of the best MVPA sites in the country.

Newsletter: Tim W. reported that the winter newsletter has been drafted will be mailed by the end of the week. He also requested any "war stories" that we have for the newsletter.

Past Events: An after action report was provided by Tim W. on the BSA Banquet.

Upcoming Events: Upcoming events were outlined by Danny K. Events include the Houston Gun Show - 22-23 January in Houston, Boy Scout Parade - 5 February, Iwo Jima + 60 19-20 February in Fredericksburg, Texas Independence Day Parade - 5 March (No information yet), Brent Mullens Open House - 18 - 19 March, and the Lameta 35th annual Diamond Back Roundup - 26 March
Plans for the Boy Scout Parade - 5 February were presented. We will be taking Pack 395 and Pack 634. There will be approximately 35 scouts and parents riding with us. We will meet in the TXDOT parking lot at 0730, hook up with the scouts and line up on the Congress St. bridge about 0830. The parade starts approximately 0900 - 0930.

National News: Scott S. proposed that the club try to get the National MVPAto hold the MPVA National Convention in Austin. Interest was high. Scott S. will draft an initial list of things that are needed. A committee will be formed to pursue the proposal.

Old Business
Robin's status was presented by Danny K.

New Business:
JH announced that he has a plasma cutter that can do fine cuts in metal. Member discounts are available.
David B. asked for assistance in pulling a trailer during the Boy Scout Parade. Due to the incompatibility in trailer hitches. Scott S. suggested that his scouts ride with us during the parade and that there should be sufficient room for them. David agreed to present this to his Pack and let us know.
Scott S. asked the members to take the on-line survey that he is posting to the website.

Anouncements
Scott S. announced that Camp Mabry need assistance restoring two WWII 2 ½ ton vehicles.

There being no further business or announcements, a motion was made, seconded, and unanimously passed to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 2014 hrs.
