Call to Order - 7:14 p.m. 

Introductions were skipped due to the absence of new members and visitors. Members in attendance included: Scott S., Herb T., Tim W., Jeff M., Jim H., Claude V., John K., Rick H., Danny K., and Fred H. 

Minutes of the April and May 2004 meetings were reviewed and unanimously approved.  The Treasurer's Report was presented by Jeff M. Year-to-date income was noted along with year-to-date expenses.  No problems or concerns were raised regarding financials.  Membership numbers were reported along with the estimated percentage of members of the chapter who also belong to the national MVPA.  The percentage was estimated to be approximately 73%.  

Tim W. provided an update on continuing efforts with the newsletter "The Transfer Case" and indicated that the next two issues were still in production.  No website updates or modifications were reported.  Members were reminded and asked to submit after action reports and photographs for posting on the web site. 

After action reports were presented by members who attended various events including the Gatesville gathering and Memorial Day ceremonies.  Members were directed to the website for written reports and photographs. 

Upcoming events were outlined with particular focus on the National Convention. Other events covered included the Victory Christian Center Freedom by Sacrifice event scheduled for June 27th, the Antique Small Engine and Tractor Show, a number of Independence Day Parades, Round Rock Frontier Days, the McDade Watermelon Festival, the 36th Infantry Division Re-flagging, the club convoy, and the Fort Worth Militaria Show.  Head counts were taken for projected attendance at the closer events and available details were provided.  It was noted by Barry F. that a reenacting and military vehicle collectors summit was being planned to coincide with the Fort Worth Militaria Show in the hope of better coordinating efforts.  

National news was addressed with primary focus on the National Convention.  Non-dues revenue was discussed and a general update was provided.  It was reported that another order of club T-shirts was in the works and that the shirts should be available for pick up soon.  Barry F. volunteered to allow club items to be made available in his truck at the Camp Mabry Muster in the fall.  General non-dues revenue discussion followed. 

Under old business, a report was provided on the difficulties related to efforts to set up an Alamo Chapter of the MVPA.  It was noted that Erik S. was now taking the lead in this effort, but was looking for assistance.  Danny K. outlined developments and club members reaffirmed the Lone Star Chapter's willingness to assist.  

Under new business, Tim W. raised the issue of renewal of the club insurance coverage.  A motion was made by John K. and seconded by Fred H. to renew the insurance.  Discussion followed.  The motion passed unanimously. 

Announcements and items for the good of the club were briefly discussed. 

A motion was made, seconded, and approved to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
