| The Boy Scout Parade is scheduled for 08-Feb-03. We will be hauling
about 30 scouts and 30 or so adults so a call to all vehicle owners has been
put out for this event. Club T's are the UOD and we will stage on the
Congress Ave. bridge. |

| Camp Grueber re-enactment in Muskogee, OK is an all weekend event.

| Texas Independence Day Parade is scheduled for Sat March 1. We
should be receiving the information packet around the first of February. |
| There is no club interest in attending the Bastrop Mardi-Gras parade this
year. |
| The VFW F4C parade remains on hold. The concrete slab should be poured
this month for a March movement. |
| Brent Mullins Open House remains scheduled for March 21/22. There
will be a live fire demonstration weather permitting. |
| Randolph AFB in San Antonio is holding a TATOO event Thursday March 27. |
| Some discussion took place regarding the Burnet Air Show and Joe VanSlyke
Memorial parade in conjunction with the Burton Cotton Gin Festival. |
| The Houston Gun Show is this coming weekend. |
| The Temple Air Show (formerly the Georgetown Air Show) remains on
track. Don and Web are to attend the first meeting. The show
should be better for us in that the crowd must pass through our display area
to view the show and the area will be open access during the show..
May 3/4 with a WWII and ToraToraTora show included. |
| Don and Web are asking for help in putting on new tracks on the half-track
this weekend. |
| Liability insurance was again discussed. More information later this
quarter. At this point, waivers appear to be a good option.
Group insurance remains under investigation by Tim. |
| A short discussion was held regarding a position on the National MVPA
board. The $500 annual stipend is only a slight offset to the expenses
associated with attending events. A motion to change the rules
regarding membership time/events attended will be floated by Tim to other
chapters soon. |
| The National MVPA event this year is in Alameda CA at the USS
Hornet. All Expert Driver awards must be submitted by Feb 15th. |
