The meeting was called to order at 7:15pm
General Business...
 | Member introductions were completed. |
| Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. |
| The Treasurer report was read and accepted. The club is in solid financial condition with 60 members of which 75% are National members. Next years annual dues notifications will be mailed in November and a follow-up in January. After January 31st, those that have not paid will be removed and placed in "Inactive" status. |
Old Business...
| The Manor parade was well attended with excellent weather. |
| The Driftwood parade was well attended with Lewis, Scott and John K |
| The Gonzales Come and Take It Parade was attended by Danny, Scott and Jim W. |
| The Midland CAF Air Show was attended by Glen V, Jim H and Ray P. |
| Toby C will chair the 2003 Nominating Committee. |
| The "Art Fundraiser" remains in discussion for now. The event is scheduled for July 5th, 2003 with a "Keep It Rolling" theme. A motion was made and seconded to proceed with planning. |

| Wings Over Houston air show scheduled for Oct 26-27. |
| Hutto Olde Tyme Days parade scheduled for Oct 19th. |
| Rudy's Make A Wish car show scheduled for Oct 19th. |
| Elgin Hog-Eye Festival scheduled for Oct 26th. |
| Muster Day scheduled for Nov 2/3. |
| Lackland AFB Air Show scheduled for Nov 2 in San Antonio. |
| San Marcos 1 day Air Show scheduled for Nov 9. |
| Veterans Day Parade in Austin scheduled for Nov 11. |
| Expo show (VI CORP) scheduled for Nov 16-17 in Dallas. |
| 2003 Hot Rod Show/Monster Truck Show in the Alamodome/San Antonio. Danny will begin groundwork to be invited. |
| Discussion on status of forming a local chapter in the San Antonio area which has the full support of the LS-MVPA Board members. |
| Robin P is off to Laughland AFB for pilot training. |

General Information and Good of the Club...
| LS-MVPA is a "Life Member" of Camp Mabry and members are entitled to discounts at the store. There are 423 life members and room for 77 more at $200 each. |
