Old Business...

bulletDanny showed the club a certificate the club received for it's participation in the Texas Independence Day Parade.
bulletBarry gave an overview of the activities surrounding the recent Long Range Desert Convention event.  The club had excellent participation for this event that was based on 1960's TV shows such as The Rat Patrol.  We were treated to excellent food and had a good time in addition to providing benefit to the convention participants.
bulletScott provided an overview of the recent Chisholm Trail Roundup Parade in Lockhart.  The club had four vehicles including an M38A1, MB, M151A2 and Claude even drove his WWII Ambulance!  It LIVES!  For the 4th year in a row, the club won "Grand Champion" for "Antique Vehicle Group"
bulletVehicle insurance was again discussed.  Danny reiterated that you cannot purchase vehicle insurance for a vehicle you do not own.  However, most insurance companies will honor your policy while driving other vehicles as 'alternate transportation'.  This generally applies up to 10,000GVW but check with your insurance carrier.  The discussion was based on our clubs desire to take the museum vehicles to events and we are required to have insurance.
bulletThe Pearl Harbor movie event for the club has been scrapped.  We will not attend as a group.

bulletMcDade Parade is scheduled for July 14th at 3:00.  The "Watermelon Fest" as it's called and this year will be in conjunction with a car show.  Look to the Upcoming Events for more details.  Club "T"s are the uniform of the day.
