The meeting was called to order.

General Business...

bulletThe Treasurers Report was read and accepted.  The club currently has 26 paid members.

 

Old Business...

bulletA discussion was held regarding the Auto Trader concept for solicitation of new members.  Kenny indicated he 'dropped the ball' and did not secure any pricing for any size ad.  Toby indicated he will follow-up.  Panteleon indicated he has not solicited any quotes for the San Antonio area.
bulletOne vehicle attended the Bastrop Parade (Scott)
bulletShorty and Panteleon did not attend the Laredo Air Show so no report was available.

 

New Business...

bulletA discussion was held on the Texas Independence Day parade.  The Nimitz museum showed up as did TMHS.  Danny indicated he will attend next year.
bulletKenny provided a review of Brent Mullins's Open House.
bulletMore information on Goliad is available.  The club has an 8:00am check-in with judging at 9:00.  The parade begins at 10:30am.  The group will leave Austin about 5:30am Saturday morning from Danny's place.  Uniform of the day (UOTD) is Club "T"'s, shorts/jeans and name tags.
bulletThe Burnet Air Show remains scheduled for April 8.  Our contact is Chuck Patillio.  We must be in place by 9:00am.  The show is from 12:00 to 4:00pm.  Static display is the order of the day.
bulletKelly AFB is having a Family Fest Day scheduled for April 1.  The 433rd Fighter Wing will host.  Contact is Jim Wills.
bulletThe Georgetown Air Show is on track for May 5-7.  Setup Friday afternoon is OK.  The club will attempt to sell club t-shirts for $15 each.  A discussion was held on the investigation of heavy jackets for Polaroid pictures and a rubber stamp of some type.  Scott will look into this.
bulletKars for Kids remains scheduled for May 13th.  Sonic Drive-In will foot the bill for liability insurance at this event.  Toby indicated the TxDot buildings are available for trailer parking.  Contact with TxDot is Lattie Berdowski.
bulletDanny presented information on an event scheduled for later called the "Traveling Vietnam Wall". 
bulletDanny presented information on Wal-Mart possibly having some sort of Veterans Day recognition.
bulletDanny presented information on the US ARMY's 225th anniversary this year.
