The meeting was called to order.
General Business...
 | The Treasurers Report was read and accepted. The club currently has 34 paid members. |
| The meeting minutes from last meeting were read and approved. |
Old Business...
| A discussion was held regarding the past Dallas show. |
| A discussion was held regarding the recent San Marcos Air Show. The show grossed $182,000 and was termed "Excellent" although mistakes were made which were transparent to the visitors. There is now renewed interest in a show for next year. |
New Business...
| The Monster Truck Show in San Antonio is fast approaching. Claude will contact Houston W to firm up our attendance. |
| A discussion was held regarding the upcoming Veterans Day Parade in Austin. The discussion centered around whether or not the club will go as one group or be mixed in with the various military and other units in the parade. |
| Next month is the Veterans Day Parade in Austin. A discussion centered around whether or not the club would participate as a group or be commingled with various other units.. Staging is set for 7:00am on the South end of the Congress Ave bridge. Parade starts at 9am. There will be one meeting before the parade at Camp Mabry on Oct 27th. Quarter-ton vehicles only for the parade. |
| A discussion was held regarding this years Muster Day. The event is scheduled for Nov 6/7. We have been requested to bring the vehicles in on Friday and setup at that time. We have also been requested to perform a 1 hour event of some type. |
| Kars for Kids car show is scheduled for May 13th of next year. This years event was a 'big hit'. We will be placed in the same area next year. |
| The Dallas Show is November 4/5 of next year. A discussion was held regarding the club's purchase of a table to sell goods. |
| The Georgetown Airshow is scheduled for the first weekend in May of next year. |
General Information and Good of the Club...
| A discussion was held regarding reimbursement of $100 to Danny to cover the cost of the Past Presidents plaques. The motion was seconded and approved. |
| A discussion and motion to spend $25 in the San Antonio paper to generate potential membership was approved. |
| A discussion of a 'graphic' type print on the t-shirts was discussed. A sample of the TMVG's "Jeepers" shirt was displayed. |
