| Synopsis: | A nice air show in Temple. We typically setup on Friday before the event and hang around for both days with a static display. |
| Details: | Setup is typically Friday. Must be in place Saturday
morning by 8:00am for this two day event.
Enter thru the 2nd gate and ask for the "re-enactment area". Look for our group. Rain or Shine event! Wristbands will be handed out AFTER arrival. Tell the gate people you are with the "re-enactor group" if they ask. Shouldn't be a problem. From Austin, take IH35 North to Temple. Exit the "Gatesville" exit (#299 Hwy 190). Head West on 190. Go about 2.2 miles to a big intersection (Hwy 36) and turn left at the light. Go another 2.7 miles or so and you will see signs for the airport. Ask for the re-enactment area. Holiday Inn Express |
| Additional Info: | Dates are May 5-6. G Company will be doing the Vietnam Reenactment again
this year, although all time periods are welcome. There will be a Tora Tora
Tora show, so if you want to be in a early WWII impression (Navy, Army or
Marine in Khakis -- no HBTs or wools --) and shoot at Jap airplanes you can
do it. |
