Madison and Jim H attended this event to support the Marine Corps League fund raiser. The Marine Corps League provides funding for various reasons to veterans in need.
The plan was to have an M38A1 and an M37 for display to hopefully attract more folks for the fund raiser. Unfortunately, Jim H M37 developed problems soon after departing home and had to return to same. So, fortunately his M38A1 was running sufficiently to be taken instead.
The event was not widely attended as Bastrop is a small town, but Madison and Jim enjoyed good conversation as well as satisfaction on trying to help out the Bastrop area Marine Corps League.
