I attended the Gun & Militaria Show on
Sunday 4th 2007. It was A nice show with some good vendors there.
It took about an hour to look thought most
of the stuff. Some of the stuff was high priced but there were other
tables who would deal...Most of the vendors commented that they had a
good Saturday and at that point the Sunday business was looking good! It
looks like these vendors can be counted to come again which is good it
will keep the show alive...Only one vehicle was there it was a rust
bucket Jeep with its motor in the back seat! It had a drip pan
underneath it from front to back!
Saw Claude V there he was having a good time
talking to his friends...
All in all I guess the trip was worth it....
After leaving the Show I hot footed it back
to Austin Rifle club to visit with the guys who had dedicated the Sunday
Match to Jim Harring they had finished shooting and were breaking out
the Beer to salute there Shooting buddy. It was interesting they had his
CAF coveralls and CAF hat on display as he was a supporting member of
the CAF...Glenn and myself were the only Lone star guys there but lots
of his and our shooting buddies showed up. It went on for about an Hour
then all the hungry shooter went to Jim's favorite restaurant 290
cafe.... I was not able to make that!
