Event: "Sacrifice" static display
Date: Sunday, July 4th, 2004
Location: Victory Christian Center, Austin Texas
Description: HOT - HOT - HOT!

After attending a local neighborhood parade in North Austin, Scott trailered his M38A1 over to the Victory Christian Center and hooked up with Danny who brought his M151A2/M416 combo.  After a few changes in our location, we finally settled in for a few hours.

The event was billed as "Sacrifice" and was a dedication and memorial to service men and women.  A church service and recognition was held and then the members were treated to the LS-MVPA's Vietnam and Korea display.

Scott and Danny answered a tremendous number of questions and received a very nice CD with patriotic tunes from Pastor Boss.  The event was low-key with several hundred US flags placed on the property.  Hotdogs, sausage wraps and beverages were also sold.

By 1pm, the congregation had departed so Danny and Scott loaded up and headed out.
