| Description: | A local San Antonio military academy held an event called
"WWII Night" on the school grounds. The event is to honor
WWII veterans, listen to their stories and pass along the history of this
significant event to the students of the academy.
Two veterans including Mr. Joe Lajzer, were on hand to give brief talks to the students while fellow club member Dean K gave jeep rides. Mr. Lajzer was a former POW who served in the Pacific and was a Baton death march survivor. |
