However, those not letting a little rain stand in the way of victory were John K and his wife Cammie and their daughter Kaylee, Claude V and his wife Jeanne and their grandson Caleb, Jeff McD, Danny K, Barry F. John had his MB, Claude his ambulance, Jeff his MB, Danny his M151A2 and Barry his Desert Storm Buggy. Herb T. also showed up sans his newly acquired MB which isn't quite parade ready. Leading the parade was Danny and the group wound up in the winners circle AGAIN with a first place for Best Vehicle Group. No cheap ribbons either. This time it's the real hardware and a nice trophy. We are definitely going to have to expand our trophy case with this one. As the parade ended, so did the showers which allowed the group to load up and share in some Kodak moments. After everyone was loaded up, the group headed to Elgin for lunch at Meyers BBQ. As usual, good times were had by all. |
