| Event: |
Round Rock informal Saturday night car show |
| Date: |
01-Jul-00 |
| Location: |
Round Rock, Texas |
| Description: |
If you notice, the date is the same as the Lakeway July
4 parade. As mentioned earlier, we sometimes have conflicts with events!
One member trailered his jeep to the Lakeway parade then left it on the
trailer so he could attend the informal car show about 30 miles North of
Austin to Round Rock. It's held informally on Saturday nights weather
permitting. About 5pm, the vehicles start rolling in. All types,
years, makes and models are present. The show goes until about dark-thirty
at which point the crowd starts to thin. The M38A1 was the only mil-veh present
and the Browning .30cal seems to grab the most attention! |
