| Description: | The 1st Annual Bastrop Mardi Gras parade was a small
and fun event. Learning of the event only a week before it occurred, we
didn't have time to get the word out to many club members.
However, one member and his dad were able to attend. This was a short parade lasting only about 14 blocks from start to finish weaving it's way through historic downtown Bastrop Texas. Several politicians were present as usual along with a few riding lawnmowers, hot rods, horses, tractors, marching bands and pickups. About par for a 1st Annual parade in a small town! |
